Patrick Reinquin is a Belgium based photographer. When he was a teenager he started to draw and to paint. At that time he received his first camera. This was the beginning of his passion for photography.

Later on, he discovered the darkroom techniques.  When he graduate in biochemistry, he used his knowledge of chemicals for darkroom experiments. But these techniques were expensive, time-consuming and pollutive. Fortunately the rise of the digital photography opened the door for unlimited creativity. Recording a scene with his digital camera is only the beginning. Back in his digital darkroom, he experiment with digital techniques to give an interpretation to his images.

His themes are different. Merely simple things and scenes, sometimes used in collages or manipulations. The results are often creations that looks scarred and melancholic. However they revives the curiosity and fantasy.

On the other site his creations can be polished and clean, abstract and minimalistic.
